Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of this website and the plumbing and HVAC services provided by The King’s Helper Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting service or using this site you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide plumbing and HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance in the greater Lexington, Kentucky area. Scope, price, and schedule for any given job are set out in the estimate, work order, or invoice you receive.

2. Estimates & approval

Estimates are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Work will not begin without your verbal, written, or on-site electronic approval. Any changes to the scope after work begins may result in additional charges, which we will discuss with you before proceeding.

3. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless we have agreed in writing to bill on account. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, and card (via a secure online link we provide). Past-due balances may accrue interest as allowed by Kentucky law.

4. Warranty

Warranty terms are stated on each invoice. Parts carry the manufacturer’s warranty; our labor warranty is stated on the invoice for that job. Warranty coverage does not include damage caused by misuse, accident, freezing, power surges, or work performed by others.

5. Communications

When you provide contact information, you agree we may contact you about your service by phone, email, and SMS (see our SMS Terms & Consent page). You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.

6. Access to the property

You agree to provide safe access to the areas where work is to be performed and to inform us of any known hazards (pets, structural issues, hazardous materials, etc.) before work begins.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific job giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Disputes will be handled in the courts located in Fayette County, Kentucky.
